A 6-1 beating at Orlando City and home draw with Atlanta FC leaves New England on the cusp of being mathematically eliminated from the MLS playoff race. But the elusive sixth spot in the east has been difficult to lock in for the two teams the Revs are theoretically still chasing -- New York Red Bull and the Montreal Impact.
New York has just one win in its last 11 matches and Montreal has lost seven of its last eight. But a potential rule infraction from FC Dallas could result in the team forfeiting its Saturday draw with Orlando City. That would mean two more big points for Orlando City and give them sole position of seventh place, with games against Columbus and Philadelphia to play -- not good new for Revs playoff dreamers.
This week, we discuss the video review screwing the Revs took in Orlando and break down the high press against Atlanta that led to several scoring opportunities that just couldn't find the back of the net.
And finally, it's once more into the breach for the Huot 8000.
