Episode 34: Dallas Downer

My Post.jpg

The Revs dropped a tough one to FC Dallas on Saturday -- snapping an 11-game home unbeaten streak and ending a 270-minute shutout stretch. Revs are now 3-1-2, still with 10 points and still holding at third place in the Eastern Conference.

This week we break down the 1-0 loss with Jake Catanese, staff editor from The Bent Musket. We also get into the ongoing Lee Nguyen saga and talk about talk about Diego Fagundez as a long-term #10. Then we welcome back friend of the pod, Ralph Schudel, from The Massive Report, to gives us an update on #SaveTheCrew and help us preview New England's visit to Columbus this weekend.

And, finally, we had a chance to sit down with Revs goalkeeper Matt Turner and new captain Claude Dielna. We get some great perspective from Turner on his unique road to MLS and ask Dielna what it means for him to wear the captain's armband. We'll preview a few minutes of the interviews in today's show, and release them in their entirety in a bonus episode just before the weekend.
