Episode 39: Worked Over

Revs took one on the chin this week -- dropping a tough home game to a well-prepared Columbus side on a soggy, cold night in Foxborough. The match played even and tight the entire way and New England certainly had their chances to connect -- particularly on set pieces -- but were unable to find the back of the net. A bullet off the head of Columbus defender Lalas Abubakar in the 85th minute gave Crew SC the 1-0 win and keeps New England, now 5-2-4, stuck in sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

This week, Ray, Jon and Alex welcome back Brian O’Connell, Revs beat writer for Prost Amerika, to discuss Brad Friedel’s formation adjustments; Brendan Bye’s positive performance and where Kelyn Rowe lands in the mix. Then, we’ll chat with Mark Dailey and Jorge Mendoza of, From the Backline podcast, to discuss the Revs’ impending visit to Vancouver and reunion with Kei Kamara.
