For supporters, by supporters of The New England Revolution.

Episode 40: Whitecapped

My Post.jpg

While it’s always good earning a result on the road, the New England Revolution let two points slip through their fingers after getting off to a great start at down-sliding Vancouver.

Christian Penilla and Teal Bunbury each found the back of the net and Brandon Bye got his second consecutive nod on a night that started with great promise but ended in a relative let down as the Revs gave up a hat trick from Cristian Techera to finish with the 3-3 draw. The Revolution are now 5-4-3 and, somehow, still in sixth place in the eastern conference table.

Friend of the pod, Sean Sweeney, of Boston Sports Journal, returns to help us break down what went right and what went wrong on Canada’s Left Coast.

And it’s a big week for the Boys in Blue. We welcome back Jason Longshore, color guy for 92.9 The Game, as the Revs prepare to host Atlanta United FC on Wednesday. Then we talk with Jonathan Machlin, of Once A Metro Blog, to preview the Revs match with Red Bull on Saturday.
