Episode 42: Drawn and Quartered

My Post.jpg

Revs played the Chicago Fire to a 1-1 draw at Toyota Park on Saturday as Teal Bunbury scored the game-tying goal in the 82nd minute after Chicago midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger recorded the lone goal for the Fire in the 63rd minute.

Bunbury's goal was his ninth of the season and eclipses his career high for goals in a single season. He’s picked up all nine of his goals in New England's last 12 games, including four in the club's last five matches, and is tied for the third most goals in MLS this season.

Certainly happy for the away result, but, all things considered, you have to believe the Boys in Blue are slightly disappointed in the outcome.

This week, RayJon and Alex cruise through the Revs’ disappointing out in the US Open Cup and then look back on New England’s result at Chicago with Brian O’Connell, beat reporter for Prost Amerika and co-host of the Revolution Recap. Then, the boys welcome in  and Steve Uhalde, of 74’ Til Infinity Podcast to preview the Revs midweek visit to San Jose.
