New England played Seattle at home on Saturday. Nobody scored. Barely anyone fired a shot and it wasn’t exactly a good night for American soccer. Revs are now 7-7-4 and currently sitting in fifth place in the Eastern Conference table.

With so few Xs and Os to unpack, we do a midseason look at some of the systemic challenges still facing the Revs as they begin the last half of the campaign. What are some of the key components still missing from this club that could be addressed during the summer transfer window? Can the Revs do enough to stay above the red line with 10 out of their last 15 games on the road? We get into it with Brian O’Connell, of Prost Amerika and the Revolution Recap podcast, and Jonathan Sigal, of MLS Soccer and the New England Soccer Journal.

Then, Ray, Jon and Alex welcome back Josh Guesman, host of Corner of the Galaxy podcast to preview the LA Galaxy coming to town on Saturday. The Galaxy have struggled in the first half of the season, but could be on the verge of turning it around. And will the dreaded Turf Monster keep Zlatan off the pitch?
