Going into a lengthy road schedule for the second half of the season, the revs started things off this week with two away matches where the boys in blue come home empty handed. Things started off with a 2-1 loss where the Revs went down two goals in the first half and a gifted foul produces a PK which is converted by Diego to prevent the Revs from leaving Minnesota with a shutout. Next up was Harrison, New Jersey and the New York Red Bull. The Revs fought toe to toe against the Red Bulls in a very physical game and were not able to find the back of the net or keep their defenses up in the 2nd half. The Revolution are now 7-7-7 and have moved out of 5th in the eastern conference table to the 6th spot.
We bring in friend of the pod, Jonathan Sigal from New England Soccer Journal to break down the details in both of these fixtures and highlight late breaking news from today and cover what details we know about the newest member of the Revs, Cristhian Machado.
