Change has come to New England, the question now is: how long will it last?
Brad Friedel engineered major lineup changes and the players put forth reinvigorated effort as the Revs earned their first win of the season, 2-1 over Minnesota United.
Jalil Anibaba netted his first goal in nearly four years to give New England the lead ten minutes into the first half and Brandon Bye scored on a run to the back post in the 62’, which was all the Revs would need to take three points. Cody Cropper had a solid afternoon between the pipes as he made his first appearance in the Brad Friedel era.
Kyle McCarthy, of The New England Soccer Journal, joins us to breakdown the win and talk about what this ever-evolving lineup could look like going forward. Then friend of the pod, Ralph Schudell, of The Massive Report, stops by to preview the Revs trip to Columbus.
