Streak snapped. Stick measured.
The Revs saw their 11-game unbeaten run come to an unceremonious end on Saturday as they fell 2-0 to league-leading LAFC.
An almost accidental goal in the 8th minute from LA’s Diego Rossi put the visitors up early as they suffocated the Revs with with an unrelenting press and dramatically limited opportunities in the attacking third.
While disappointed in the result, Bruce Arena acknowledged that the better team won and said he will use the game as a measuring stick as they prepare for an arduous August schedule.
This week, Ray, Jon and Alex bring back Jason York, of MLS Soccer, to break it all down. Then, we welcome Steven Agen, of Radio Cascadia to preview the Revs upcoming trip to the Emerald City. The Sounders are currently sitting fourth in the west, but could be missing some key players when New England arrive on Saturday.
